According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Colts are 3-point home favorites over the Eagles, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 53 points. Indianapolis opened as 3-point favorites and that’s where the number currently sits, while the total opened at 52.5 and has been bet up to 53.

The Eagles were shut out 17-0 at halftime last week in their home opener but went on to score 34 unanswered points in a 34-17 win over the Jaguars. Quarterback Nick Foles was brutal in the first half but shook it off to complete 27-of-45 passes for 322 yards with two touchdowns and one interception on the day. Jeremy Maclin also caught four passes for 97 yards and a touchdown while tight end Zach Ertz caught three passes for 77 yards and a score in the victory.

The Colts trailed 24-7 at halftime in Denver last Sunday night before eventually falling to the Browns 31-24. They did cover as 8-point road dogs, however, while the combined score barely went over the posted total of 53 points. Andrew Luck completed 35-of-53 passes for 370 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions while Reggie Wayne caught 9 passes for 98 yards in the loss.

According to latest NFL trends, the under is 4-1 in the Eagles’ last five games following a straight up win of more than 14 points, 5-2 in their last seven games following an ATS win and 30-13 in their last 43 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game. The under is also 14-5 in the Colts’ last 19 games following a loss, 5-2 in their last seven games in September and 15-7 in their last 22 home games.
