NFL Week 3 Opening Spreads
(The Spread) – The opening spreads are out for Week 3 in the NFL. Let’s check out the odds and totals.
Week 3 gets kicked off on Thursday night when the 1-1 Panthers host the 1-1 Giants at 8:20PM ET. Oddsmakers have installed New York as a 1-point road favorite, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 52 points.
On Sunday, the 1-1 Cowboys are 7-point home favorites against the 1-1 Buccaneers, while the 1-1 Rams are 9-point road underdogs against the Bears in Chicago. RGIII and the Redskins are 4-point home favorites against the Bengals and despite being 0-2 the Saints are 9-point home favorites against the winless Chiefs.
AFC East rivals will clash in Miami on Sunday when the Dolphins host the Jets, who are 3-point road favorites. The Browns are 3-point home underdogs versus the Bills and the surprising 2-0 Cardinals are 3.5-point favorites against the visiting Eagles at 4:05PM ET.
In one of the other late Sunday games, the Raiders are 5-point home underdogs against the Steelers and the Ravens are 3-point home favorites against the Patriots on Sunday Night Football. The total for that New England-Baltimore game is currently sitting at 48.5 points.
As for the Week 3 Monday Night Football game, the Seahawks are 3.5-point home underdogs against the visiting Packers, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 47.5 points.
