2012 NFL Week 2 Cowboys vs. Seahawks Point Spread Odds & Total

Cowboys vs. Hawks Week 2 Odds

SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – The Cowboys will look to improve to 2-0 on the new season and are favored for their 4:25PM ET matchup with the Seahawks on Sunday.

DALLAS: The Cowboys racked up 433 yards in their victory last week against the defending Super Bowl champion Giants. Tony Romo completed 22-of-29 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns, which included Kevin Olgretree’s two scores. Dallas covered as a 4-point road underdog and may finally be ready to cash in on all of its talent. Thanks to Romo, receivers Ogletree, Dez Bryant and Miles Austin, tight end Jason Witten and running back DeMarco Murray, the Cowboys are stacked. Their defense is much improved as well, so the sky is the limit.

SEATTLE: Russell Wilson nearly pulled off a victory in his NFL debut but the Cardinals pulled off a come-from-behind victory as Seattle fell to Arizona as a 1-point favorite. Wilson’s offensive line was shaky and couldn’t protect the youngster as the passing game floundered. The defense was solid, but Arizona’s offense isn’t anywhere close to being as potent as Dallas’ O is. The Seahawks’ secondary, which was very good a year go, will be tested this Sunday at home against the Cowboys.

ODDS: The Cowboys opened as 4-point favorites but the line has dropped to 3 even though 83% of the betting public currently favors Dallas. The total for this game is 41.5.

TRENDS: The Cowboys are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against the Seahawks and the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams. The underdog is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings between these two teams and the road squad is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.
