Browns vs. Texans NFL Week 9 Odds
(The Spread) – The Texans can make it three in a row this Sunday if they can beat the struggling Browns at home.
CLEVELAND: The Browns have three wins but their trio of victories has come against teams with losing records (Indianapolis, Miami and Seattle). The Browns’ 20-10 loss to the 49ers last week dropped their record to 3-4 on the year and their ATS record to 1-4-2.
HOUSTON: After losing two straight games in the middle of October, the Texans have rallied two win their last two contests. Their latest victory came in a sound, 24-14 performance against the Jaguars last Sunday. That pushed Houston’s record to 5-3 on the year and 4-3-1 against the spread. The Texans are hoping to have Andre Johnson (hamstring) back from injury this Sunday against the Browns.
ODDS: The Texans opened as 10.5-point favorites over the Browns and the line has budged since the opening line was set. Cleveland enters the game with a 1-2 road record while Houston is 3-1 at home. The over/under total for this contest is currently sitting at 41 points.

Houston is also 4-1-1 ATS in its last six games as a favorite and 4-1-1 ATS in its last six games a home favorite. The Browns, meanwhile, are 4-1 ATS in their last five games in Week 9 but 1-4 ATS in their last five road games.
