2011 NFL Week 8 on CBS: Colts vs. Titans Spread & Odds

Colts vs. Titans NFL Week 8 Odds

(The Spread) – AFC South rivals clash in Tennessee this Sunday when the Titans host the Colts in Week 8.

INDIANAPOLIS: One would think it couldn’t get any worse for the Colts. Not only are they sitting in last place in the AFC South with a winless 0-7 record, but they were also just defeated 62-7 by the Saints in Week 7. Without Peyton Manning under center, everyone knew the Colts would be worse off. But who expected them to be this bad? Curtis Painter has just 873 passing yards on the year while Pierre Garcon leads the team with four touchdowns. As previously mentioned, Indy is 0-7 overall and just 2-5 against the spread. They’ve also failed to cover in their last three straight.

TENNESSEE: The season started off promising enough for the Titans, who ended Chris Johnson’s holdout by signing the running back to a new deal and then started the year 3-1. But things have gone downhill since then. The Titans have lost two in a row and Johnson has been nowhere near as productive as he was in his first couple of seasons. He has just 268 rushing yards on the year, which has put more pressure on Matt Hasselbeck (1,518 yards) and the passing game. The Titans are now 3-3 overall and 2-4 against the spread.
