Cardinals vs. Ravens Week 8 Odds
(The Spread) – Just six days after their offense stumbled mightily in Jacksonville the Ravens return home to host the Cardinals in Week 8.
ARIZONA: The Cardinals proved no match for the Steelers in Week 7, falling to Pittsburgh, 32-20. That dropped Arizona’s record to 1-5 on the year and 2-4 against the spread, which includes a 1-2 ATS mark at home. Beanie Wells has rushed for 423 yards and six touchdowns but he’s once again banged up. Larry Fitzgerald has 505 receiving yards and Kevin Kolb has thrown for 1,553 passing yards.
BALTIMORE: The Ravens had their three-game winning streak snapped in embarrassing fashion on Monday night when they lost to the previous one-win Jaguars, 12-7. That dropped Baltimore’s record to 4-2 on the year and its ATS record to 4-2, although the Ravens are still 3-0 ATS at home this year. Joe Flacco has thrown for 1,415 yards while Ray Rice has 426 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the host Ravens as 13-point home favorites over the Cardinals, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 44 points. Arizona is 0-3 on the road this season while Baltimore is 3-0 at home.
TRENDS: The Cardinals are 1-5 against the number in their last six road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall. The Ravens are 6-0 ATS in their last six games in Week 8 and 4-1 ATS in their last five home games. Baltimore is also 6-1 ATS in its last seven games following an ATS loss.
