NFL Week 16 Las Vegas Odds
(The Spread) – The 2011-12 NFL Season has hit its 16th week of action and here is what the betting capital thinks of this week’s games.
One of the featured games this week is the battle of New York as the Jets host the Giants at 1PM ET on Saturday. Oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas have made the Jets a 3-point favorite in the contest against the Giants. Both teams are coming off losses, but currently the Jets are in a wildcard spot right now in the AFC at 8-6 while the Giants are on the outside looking in at 7-7, trailing the Cowboys by one game for the NFC East lead. The Giants have won the last four games in this series. The over/under total for this game has been set at 45.5 points.
Monday Night Football for Week 16 features a battle in the NFC South as the Saints play host to the Falcons at 8:30PM ET. The Saints have a two-game lead on the Falcons in the division with two games to play. The Saints stand at 11-3 and are tied for the second seed in the NFC with the 49ers. The Falcons are 9-5 and in the fifth spot in the NFC, holding a two-game edge in the wildcard race. Oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage have made the Saints a 6.5-point favorite in Monday’s game. The over/under total has been set at 53.5 points. The Saints have won five of the last six meetings with the Falcons.
