Bears vs. Broncos Odds

DENVER, CO (The Spread) – Tim Tebow looks to lead the Denver Broncos to another win on Sunday when Denver hosts the injury-plagued Chicago Bears at 4:05PM ET on FOX.

DENVER: Denver is coming off a 35-32 win at Minnesota last week for their fifth-straight win and sixth win in seven games with Tebow as the starter. Denver is now 7-5 on the season and tied for first in the AFC West with Oakland. The Broncos are just 2-3 at home this season and 7-5 against the spread while hitting the over in 7 of 12 games. Denver is not putting up great offensive numbers, as they average just 21.3 points per game, but they do have the top rushing attack in the league, averaging 158.9 yards per game on the ground. Tebow himself has rushed for 468 yards and three touchdowns while throwing for 1,054 yards and 10 TD’s with only one interception. Defensively, Denver is giving up 24.3 points per game and getting beat for 245 passing yards per game. The Broncos have 33 sacks on the year, which is in the upper echelon of the NFL.

CHICAGO: The Bears are coming off a 10-3 loss at home to Kansas City to fall to 7-5 on the season. The Bears still have a spot in the NFC wild card picture, but things are looking bleak for the Bears as quarterback Jay Cutler is out with a thumb injury and running back Matt Forte is out with a sprained MCL. Without those two for most of last week’s game, the Bears had just 181 total yards of offense and Caleb Hanie threw for 133 yards and 3 INT on 11-of-24 passing. Chicago is 2-3 on the road this season and 6-6 against the spread while hitting the over in 7 of 12 games. The Bears are averaging 24.3 points per game on the season, but those numbers are greatly altered by the recent injuries. Defensively, Chicago is holding opponents to 20.2 points per game and just 99.8 rushing yards per game.
