Bills vs. Jets NFL Week 12 Odds
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (The Spread) – The Jets look to bounce back from their loss to the Broncos when they host the struggling Bills at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.
BUFFALO: The Bills’ season is quickly slipping away from them. After starting the year 3-0 and 5-2, they’ve now lost three straight in rather ugly fashion. Ryan Fitzpatrick had another day to forget in Buffalo’s 35-8 loss to Miami and star running back Fred Jackson (who has since been placed on IR) was hurt in the defeat. The loss dropped the Bills’ record to 5-5 overall and 4-5-1 against the spread and although they remain just two games behind the Patriots (a team they beat earlier this year), you get the sense that Buffalo won’t be able to turn things around in time.
NEW YORK: One week after the Patriots steamrolled them in New York, the Jets lost in embarrassing fashion to the Broncos after Tim Tebow scrambled for the game-winning score in 17-13 Denver victory. That loss dropped the Jets’ record to 5-5 overall and 4-6 against the spread as Mark Sanchez and the offense continues to struggle. Rex Ryan’s defense is playing at a high level (save for the New England game), but Sanchez continues to make huge mistakes in losses.

ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Jets as an 9-point favorite against the Bills, while the over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 41.5. Buffalo enters this contest 5-5 and is 1-4 on the road, while New York is 5-5 overall and 4-1 at home.
TRENDS: The Bills are 4-1 against the spread in their last five trips to New York but just 0-4 ATS in their last four games against the Jets overall. The underdog is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings between these two teams while the road team is 7-1 against the spread in the last eight meetings.
