Bengals vs. Ravens Week 11 Odds
BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) – AFC North rivals clash in Baltimore this Sunday when the Ravens host the Bengals at 1:00PM ET on CBS.
CINCINNATI: After winning five in a row, the Bengals faced their stiffest test of the season last Sunday when they hosted the Steelers in Week 10. And while they battled throughout, Cincinnati lost 24-17 to drop its record to 6-3 on the year and 7-2 against the number. The Bengals won’t have long to lick their wounds with a trip to Baltimore coming up this Sunday. Rookie Andy Dalton continues to improve each week and A.J. Green is an absolute star in the making. He caught another touchdown last Sunday to run his season total to six.
BALTIMORE: Joe Flacco and the Ravens virtually erased all of the good they did in Week 9 with their come-from-behind win against the Steelers when they lost to the Seahawks last Sunday. Baltimore continues to play to the level of its competition and is now 6-3 on the year and 5-4 against the spread. Two of their losses have come against inferior opponents in Jacksonville and Seattle, while four of their wins have come against Pittsburgh (twice), Houston and the New York Jets. There’s just no reason for a team this good to lose to Seattle 22-17 as a 7-point favorite, regardless of where the game is played.
ODDS: Oddsmakers have installed the Ravens as a 7-point favorite over the Bengals, while the over/under total for this game is currently sitting at 40.5 points. Cincinnati comes into this week with a 6-3 record overall and is 4-1 on the road, while Baltimore is 6-3 overall and 4-0 at home.
TRENDS: The Bengals are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games against the Ravens and 5-2 ATS in their last seven meetings in Baltimore. The underdog is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams while the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings and 4-0 in the last four meetings in Baltimore.
