Saints vs. Falcons NFL Week 10 Odds
ATLANTA, GA (The Spread) – First place in the NFC South will be on the line in Atlanta when the Falcons host the Saints at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.
NEW ORLEANS: The Saints got back on track last Sunday with a 27-16 win against the Bucs in Week 9. That victory improved New Orleans’ record to 6-3 on the year and its ATS record to 5-4. That said, four of the Saints’ six wins this season have come at home, while all three of their losses have come on the road. They’re 1-4 against the number this season away from the Superdome, which included their embarrassing 31-21 loss to the Rams in Week 8. Drew Brees continues to terrorize opponents through the air, although he needs to play more consistent on the road if the Saints want to reclaim the NFC South from the Falcons this season.
ATLANTA: Following their 2-3 start, the Falcons are playing with more confidence, more urgency, and more focus of late. They’re currently on a three-game winning streak, with two of those victories coming on the road. In their warm up for New Orleans, Atlanta crushed Indianapolis 31-7 as rookie Julio Jones torched the Colts for 137 yards and two touchdowns. The Falcons are only 4-4 against the spread, but their 3-0 against the number in their three-game winning streak. The defense has played very well this season, although they’ll certainly be tested against Brees and the Saints on Sunday.
