NFL Week 2 Preseason Odds
(The Spread) – The NFL heads into Week 2 of its preseason, where starters will get a little more playing time than they did last week.
The action gets kicked off on Thursday night when the Bucs host the Patriots at 7:30PM ET. Tampa has opened as a 2.5-point favorite over the Pats, while the over/under is currently sitting at 37.5 points. The only other game to take place on Thursday night will feature an all-Pennsylvania matchup when the Steelers (-3.5) host the Eagles at 8:00PM ET.
On Friday, the defending Super Bowl champion Packers will host Kevin Kolb and the Cardinals at 8:00PM ET. The Packers lost their preseason opener but are 6-point favorites over the Cardinals, who won theirs. Also on Friday, the Ravens (-6) will host the Chiefs at 7:30PM ET in what will be a rematch of a 2010 Wildcard Round in which Baltimore won in Kansas City.

Saturday’s action is highlighted by what may be a shootout in Houston when the Texans host the Saints at 8:00PM ET. The point spread has yet to be released for that game, but it would be surprising if the Texans were favored by anything more than 3 or 3.5 points. Also on Saturday, Sam Bradford and the Rams (-3.5) will host the Titans at 8:00PM ET.
Sunday offers a great matchup as the Cowboys will host the Chargers at 8:00PM ET. Tony Romo and the ‘Boys are 1-point favorites over Philip Rivers and Co., while the over/under total is currently listed at 37.5 points.
The Monday Night Football matchup this week will feature NFC foes as the Giants will host the Bears at 8:00PM ET. New York is a 4-point favorite over Chicago, which won its preseason opener versus the Bills despite giving up nine sacks.
