New England had an impressive 38-24 win over Miami in the opening week of the season. The Patriots offense was clicking all game, as they racked up 622 yards total. Tom Brady threw for 517 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. Defensively, the Patriots did give up 488 yards of offense to Miami, including 390 passing yards.

San Diego defeated Minnesota 24-17 at home in its season opener. The Chargers’ defense held Minnesota to just 187 total yards, including only 28 passing yards. The San Diego offense totaled over 400 yards in the win. Philip Rivers did have two interceptions on the day, but still threw for 335 yards and two touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, San Diego linebacker Jonas Mouton is doubtful to play on Sunday with a shoulder injury while kicker Nate Kaeding will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. New England center Dan Koppen is out for the game with a leg injury while cornerback Leigh Bodden is listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury.
