(The Spread) – Whom do public bettors favor in Week 2 of the NFL? Read on to find out.

While the information is subject to change leading up to Sunday’s action, the Ravens are the public’s strongest play in Week 2. Of the 15,000-plus wagers on the Baltimore-Tennessee game, 90% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Ravens –5.5.

The public also loves the Packers, Cowboys and Texans this Sunday. Eighty-three percent of NFL public bettors currently favor Green Bay –9.5 versus Carolina, while 83% of public bettors also like the Cowboys –3 in San Francisco. Seventy-five percent of NFL public bettors believe the Steelers will cover the big 14-point spread against the Seahawks in Pittsburgh, while 73% of public bettors like the Lions –9 against the Chiefs in Detroit. Seventy-percent of NFL public bettors also like the Giants –6 against the banged up Rams on Monday night football.

What’s somewhat surprising is that 72% of NFL public bettors currently favor the Eagles –1 against the Falcons on Sunday Night Football. Clearly bettors have been swayed by the dazzling Michael Vick and the fact that Atlanta looked brutal against Chicago in Week 1. The Eagles have also owned the Falcons over the years, winning eight of their last nine games against Atlanta.
