Rams vs. Seahawks Odds
SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) โ Monday Night Football features two NFC West rivals as the Seattle Seahawks host the St. Louis Rams at 8:30PM ET on ESPN.
ST. LOUIS: After nearly winning the division title last year, the Rams are a disappointing 2-10 following a 26-0 loss to San Francisco last week. The Rams have lost their last three games. St. Louis is now 1-5 on the road and 2-10 against the spread while hitting the under 7 times in 12 games. The Rams have the worst offense in the league, as they average just 11.7 points and 284 yards per game. Part of the reason for the problems have been the injury issues to quarterback Sam Bradford. Bradford has thrown for 1,971 yards and six touchdowns with five interceptions in nine games this season. He is listed as questionable for Mondayโs game due to an ankle injury. The Rams defense is giving up 24 points and 366 yards per game, including 157 rushing yards per contest.
SEATTLE: The Seahawks are 5-7 on the season following a 31-14 win over Philadelphia last week. The Seahawks have now won three of their last four games and they are 3-3 at home and 7-4-1 against the spread. Seattle has hit the over in 7 of 12 games. Seattleโs offense is averaging 18 points and 298 yards per game, but they have had to rely on their running game in recent weeks. Marshawn Lynch has run for 854 yards and eight touchdowns this season. Lynch has run for over 100 yards in four of his last five games. Seattle actually has a pretty strong defense as the Seahawks are giving up only 20.5 points per game. They are also holding opponents to only 103 rushing yards per game.
ODDS: Oddsmakers have made the Seattle Seahawks the favorite in this game, giving Seattle a point spread of -10 against St. Louis on Monday night. The over/under total has been set at 37 points.
TRENDS: Trends show that St. Louis is just 1-8 against the spread in its last 9 games with Seattle and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 at Seattle. The Rams are also just 1-10 ATS in their last 11 conference games while Seattle is 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 Monday night games. When it comes to the over/under total, these two have combined to hit the under in 4 of their last 6 meetings and in 5 of the last 7 in this series played in Seattle.
