NEW YORK, NY (TheSpread) – The New York Jets are in the playoffs, but they need some momentum heading into next week, and they can get that against Buffalo on Sunday.
The Jets are 10-5 on the season and 4-3 at home while the Bills are 4-11 overall and 2-5 on the road. Trends show that Buffalo has covered the spread in their last four games in New York against the Jets and the road team is 6-0 against the point spread odds in the last six games of this series.

The Jets average 21.9 points per game on offense and allow 19.8 points per game on defense. Mark Sanchez has led the team with 3,291 passing yards and 17 touchdowns to go with 13 interceptions, but Sanchez has been battling a shoulder injury as of late. He is expected to play on Sunday.
The Bills are 7-6-2 against the point spread this season and they have went under the total in 9 of 15 games. Buffalo has won two of its last three games but is coming off a 34-3 loss to New England last week where the Bills had 7 turnovers as a team. On the year, Buffalo is averaging just 18.4 points per game while giving up 25.8 per contest. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been a small bright spot for the team as he has thrown for 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns to go along with 15 interceptions.
In terms of injuries, New York cornerbacks Antonio Cromartie and Darrelle Revis are both doubtful to play due to injuries while Buffalo quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is doubtful with a head injury, which will force Brian Brohm into the starting lineup.
Over 1,000 public bets have been placed on this game with Buffalo getting 57% of the wagers with point spread odds of +1 against the Jets on Sunday.
