NFL Playoff Trends
The 2010 NFL Playoffs begin this weekend and Philadelphia and Green Bay seem to have the strongest trends in their favor.
With the wild card playoffs starting Saturday, two road teams have the trends in their favor. Philadelphia is 18-9 against the spread against conference opponents in the last two years and 51-27 against the spread when revenging a loss against an opponent since 1992. The Eagles meet the Cowboys this week after losing to Dallas 24-0 last Sunday. Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made the Cowboys 4-point favorites over the Eagles on Saturday.
In Sunday’s game between the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals, the Packers are 6-0 against the spread against NFC West opponents over the last three seasons. Arizona is a 2.5-point favorite for Sunday’s playoff game.
