Week 17 NFL Line Movement Report

The Saints opened as a 9.5-point favorite over the Bucs in Week 17 but the line has steadily dropped since then. It’s all the way down to 7.5 right now, while the over/under total is 46.5 after opening at 48.

According to current NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Ravens opened as a 9.5-point favorite over the Bengals on Sunday and at some books, the line is now up to 10. The over/under total opened at 43 and remains at 43.

The Falcons need to beat the Panthers to clinch first place in the NFC South and earn home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The spread opened at 14.5 but is now down to 14 at some books. The over/under total opened at 41 and is now down to 40.5.

The Steelers can clinch the AFC North and the No. 2 seed in the AFC with a win over the Browns. The line opened at Pittsburgh –6 but is now down to 5.5. The over/under total opened at 38 and is now down to 37.5.

The Jaguars need to beat the Texans and have the Colts lose to the Titans in order to make the playoffs. They opened as a 2.5-point underdog on the road at Houston but are now 3-point underdogs. The over/under total opened at 49.5 but has dropped to 46 because of the injuries to David Garrard and Maurice Jones-Drew.

The Giants need to beat the Redskins in Washington and have Green Bay lose at home to Chicago in order to earn the sixth and last seed in the NFC. They opened as a 3.5-point favorite but are now 4-point favorites. The over/under total opened at 44.5 but is now down to 44.

If the Packers beat the Bears on Sunday they’ll make the postseason as the No. 6 seed in the NFC. They opened as a 10-point favorite because the Bears are expected to play some of their backups after already clinching a first round bye.

If the Colts beat the Titans they’ll clinch the AFC South crown. They opened as a 9-point favorite but now the line is up to 10. The over/under total opened at 47.5 but is now up to 48.

Whichever team wins in Seattle on Sunday night will be crowned NFC West champions. The Rams opened as 1.5-point favorites over the Seahawks but now the line is up to 3. The over/under total opened at 43 but is now down to 41.5.
