NFL Week 16 Point Spreads

The Thursday night football game this week pits the Pittsburgh Steelers against the lowly Carolina Panthers. The Steelers will be looking to bounce back after losing to the Jets last Sunday, while the Panthers hope to finish the season on a high note. According to NFL Week 16 odds and oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the Steelers are 13-point favorites over the Panthers on Thursday.
There’s one Saturday game this week in the NFL and unfortunately it’s a matchup between two teams that have already been eliminated. The four-win Arizona Cardinals will host the five-win Dallas Cowboys at 7:30PM ET on Christmas night. The ‘Boys have been made 6-point favorites.
In an important NFC West showdown, the St. Louis Rams have opened as 1-point favorites over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Rams need a win in order to hold onto first place in their division, while the Niners are hoping they can still back into the playoffs.
After losing to the Colts last Sunday, a win becomes imperative to the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend. They’ll host the Washington Redskins at 1:00PM ET on Sunday and while the Jags are 6.5-point favorites, they better not take Rex Grossman and the Skins lightly.
The Kansas City Chiefs are moving closer to winning the AFC West. They’ll host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and have opened as a 5-point favorite. Both teams will be coming off wins in Week 15.
Peyton Manning and the Colts will travel West in Week 16 when they take on the Oakland Raiders at 4:05PM ET. The Colts need to win their final two games to claim the AFC South crown, but Oakland has been tough at home this year, winning five of its seven games.
The biggest and best game on the Week 16 schedule was saved for the final Monday Night Football Game of the year. The Atlanta Falcons will host the New Orleans Saints and have been made 2-point odds favorites over their division rivals. The over/under total for this game has been set at a whopping 48.5 points.
