Rams vs. Broncos Odds
The 4-6 St. Louis Rams are searching for their first win on the road in Week 12 of the NFL Season on Sunday as they take on the Denver Broncos.
The Rams are 4-6 overall but 0-4 on the road while the Broncos are 3-7 overall and 2-3 at home this season. Trends show that St. Louis is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games following a failed cover while the Broncos are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.
Oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com have made the Broncos a 3.5-point favorite at home against the Rams on Sunday. The over/under has been set at 44.5. (View Matchup)
Opening odds had Denver favored by 4 points. The spread has simply dropped back to 3.5 points to end the week. The over/under total hasn’t change since opening at 44.5 points.
The Rams have lost three of their last four games, two of which came on the road. Both road losses were decided by three points or less as the Rams have been playing mildly well on defense, allowing just 19.8 points per game. The problem with the Rams is on offense, where they are scoring just 17.7 points per game. Sam Bradford has thrown for 2,158 yards and 14 touchdowns in his rookie year, but he also has nine interceptions.
The Broncos have lost five of their last six games, including a 35-14 loss at San Diego last Monday. The Broncos also were fined this week for a video-taping scandal where it was discovered they taped a 49ers practice during their trip to London earlier in the year. Still, Denver is posting 21.7 points per game on offense while giving up 28.7 points per game defensively. Kyle Orton has thrown for 3,023 yards and 17 touchdowns on the year to lead Denver.
In terms of injuries, St. Louis receiver Danario Alexander is expected to play as he battles a knee injury while Denver receiver Demaryius Thomas is questionable with an ankle injury.
Over 16,000 public bets have been placed on this game and the Rams are getting 52% of the bets at +3.5 against the Broncos on Sunday.
