According to Week 15 NFL odds and oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, the Panthers are 2.5-point favorites against the Cardinals on Sunday. The over/under total for this game is currently 38 points.
The Cardinals improved to 4-9 by crushing the Broncos last Sunday and improved to 4-9 against the spread according to latest NFL trends. They’re 1-5 on the road this season and have failed to cover in four of their six road games this season.
The Panthers dropped to 1-12 with their loss to the Falcons last Sunday and failed to cover. They’re now just 3-10 against the spread and failed to cover in six of their seven home games this season. (They’re also 1-6 straight up at home.)
NFL Week 15 Free Pick:
Ugh. What do you do with this game? Both teams are garbage and while it would be easy to back the Cardinals after they destroyed the Broncos last Sunday, it’s hard what to make of John Skelton. Neither of these teams have anything to play for and both offenses can be putrid, which is why we think there’s value in the under. The under is 20-6 in the Panthers’ last 26 games as a home favorite and 34-15-2 in their last 51 games at Bank of America Stadium. Both teams will look to keep the ball on the ground – especially the Panthers, who had a ton of success running the ball with Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson last Sunday against Atlanta. Our pick is the under 38.
