Stanford Cardinal Game Notes
Ashton Daniels was 25-for-36 passing for 248 yards and two touchdowns during Friday’s 37-24 win against Hawaii. He also had 11 rushes for 42 yards. The Cardinal were projected to finish last in the Pac-12 this season, but new coach Troy Taylor seems deadset on silencing the critics. While leading the revamped offense, Daniels looked poised and confident throughout the contest and played well enough to stave off Appearances from Ari Patu and Justin Lamson, who were initially listed as co-starters. It seems apparent that Daniels will get the green light moving forward, although he’ll face a stern task against the Trojans on the road next week.
USC Trojans Game Notes
Caleb Williams was 18-for-24 passing for 319 yards and five touchdowns during Saturday’s 66-14 win over Nevada. He also had three rushes for 42 yards. Williams put together another array of accurate passes, remarkable escapes and fancy footwork in the blowout win. Although Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders may have stolen the weekend’s headlines, Williams matched Sanders’ TD count, albeit against a weaker opponent. His totals would have been higher, but he gave way to Miller Moss once the bench began to empty.

Stanford vs. USC Betting Prediction
Yeah…over. Over in every USC game all season. Williams and this USC offense could hang 50 on every opponent this season and while I do expect the Trojans’ defense to improve throughout the season as the offseason transfers start to gel, opponents could hang 30-plus on this USC defense every game. I know the total is high but…how do I put this…I don’t care. Over. All day.
