Oddsmakers have made Oklahoma State the favorite in Monday nightβs contest, as the Cowboys have a point spread of -4 against Stanford on Monday night. Currently over 36,500 Public Bets have been placed on this game and Oklahoma State is the recipient of 61% of the public wagers with a spread of -4 against Stanford on Monday night. The opening point spread for this game had Oklahoma State favored by 3.5 points. In early December the spread had dropped to 3 points but it since climbed back up to 4 points and was as high as 4.5 points on Sunday before settling in at 4.
Oklahoma State is the Big 12 champion at 11-1 overall. The Cowboys were 9-3 against the spread on the year and 5-1 ATS on the road. The Cowboys were also 1-1 against the spread on grass fields. Oklahoma State has been favored in all but one game this season and the Cowboys are 4-0 against the spread in games with lines of 7 points or less. Stanford was favored in every game this season, but they lost the one game with the smallest spread they saw all season, which was -2.5 against Oregon. Stanford had a good balance of a strong offense and a solid defense. The Cardinal averaged 43.6 points per game on offense while allowing 20.3 points per game defensively. Stanford has scored at least 28 points in every game, but they have not scored more than 31 points in their last three games.
