It’s up to Jones for OSU
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (The Spread) – No. 6 Ohio State has a lot of questions about what it will get from its quarterback position on Saturday when it faces No. 11 Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship.

Ohio State hasn’t been fortunate with injuries, as the team lost Braxton Miller before the season started. Miller was expected to be a Heisman contender. With Miller out, the team turned to J.T. Barrett. Barrett shined in the role, throwing for 2,834 yards and 34 touchdowns while rushing for 1,182 yards and 10 scores. However, he suffered a broken ankle last week against Michigan and will miss the rest of the season. Now, Cardale Jones will be under center. He has gone 10 of 17 passing for 118 yards and two scores in his limited time. He also has rushed for 206 yards.
The injury to Barrett is clearly impacting the spread for this one, as oddsmakers from BetDSI have Wisconsin as a 4-point favorite against Ohio State for Saturday’s 8:17PM ET kickoff on FOX (View Matchup). The over/under total for the game is listed at 52.5 points.
The Badgers come into this game relatively healthy. The team does have a pair of injuries to offensive linemen as Trent Dellinger is questionable with an undisclosed injury while Dan Voltz is questionable with an ankle injury. They have helped Wisconsin establish the third-best rushing attack in the country at 334.3 yards per game.
