Mariota a lock for the Heisman
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – If you are wondering where the odds are for the 2014 Heisman Trophy, you’re not alone. Most sportsbooks aren’t releasing odds for the award with Marcus Mariota heavily favored.

The three finalists for the award, which will be announced on Saturday, are Mariota, Melvin Gordon and Amari Cooper. The last known odds for the Heisman came before last week’s games and Mariota was a staggering 1/80 favorite.
Currently, oddsmakers from BetDSI and all other major sportsbooks have taken down the odds for Saturday’s award due to Mariota being believed to be a sure thing to win.
The Oregon quarterback has thrown for 3,783 yards and 38 touchdowns while rushing for 669 yards and 14 score while leading the Ducks to the playoffs and a Pac-12 title. Cooper has caught 115 passes for Alabama, totaling 1,656 yards and 14 touchdowns. Gordon has rushed for 2,336 yards and 26 touchdowns for Wisconsin.
