The Wildcats are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. They’re also 35-17-1 at the betting window in their last 53 games in October.
Texas Betting Trends
The Longhorns are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against a team with a winning record. That said, they’re 8-17 against the spread in their last 25 home games versus a team with a winning road record and are 1-6 against the number in their last seven games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game.

Our Prediction: Kansas State could have a problem at quarterback, as Jesse Ertz is expected to start but he’ll also split snaps due to an injury. Meanwhile, Texas will have Shane Buechele under center after returning last week from a two-game absence due to a sprained ankle. Texas’ defense seems to be rounding into shape, as the Longhorns have forced eight turnovers this season, including seven interceptions. Kansas State is 10-7 against Texas lifetime, but has struggled in Austin while going 3-6. I’m buying Texas coming off back-to-back covers.
