Darren Grainger completed 14-of-25 passes for 231 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in Saturday’s loss against Coastal Carolina. He also ran the ball 9 times for 13 yards. Grainger had a tough time navigating the Chanticleers’ secondary as he was never able to get anything going offensively for the Panthers. Grainger had a solid 2021 campaign where he threw for 1,715 yards, 19 touchdowns, and four interceptions. Expect Grainger to bounce back next Saturday against Army.
