Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com currently list Georgia as 28.5-point favorites at home against the Ragin’ Cajuns. The over/under has been set at 52. Game time is set for 12:20PM ET.

Georgia was 5-7 against the spread in 2009 while hitting the under in 6 of 11 games. The Bulldogs are 1-0 ATS as a 28.5-point favorite and 5-3 ATS in non-conference games. In fact, the Bulldogs are 39-23 ATS in non-conference games since 1992.

Louisiana-Lafayette was 5-6 against the spread in 2009 and also hit the under in 6 of 11 lined games last season. The Cajuns are 32-48 over the last three years ATS in games on grass fields and 22-25 in non-conference contests.

Georgia has some question marks, but the Bulldogs also have high expectations for the season. Sanford Stadium can be a loud place for visitors and we expect the Bulldogs to jump out quickly and take a sizeable lead early before settling in for about a 35-point victory. Don’t look for the Cajuns to put up much of a fight on offense, allowing the under to hit.
