Florida had a solid win over Toledo last Saturday, out-gaining an explosive Rockets offense, 415-205. Florida did most of its damage in the game on the ground, rushing for 262 yards as a team. Mack Brown led the way, rushing for 112 yards on 25 carries. Quarterback Jeff Driskel didn’t look too bad, going 17 of 22 passing for 153 yards and a touchdowns.
Miami came out firing in its 34-6 win over FAU last weekend. The Hurricanes totaled 503 yards of offense while allowing just 250 yards to the Owls. Miami had a huge day from running back Duke Johnson, as he rushed for 186 yards and a touchdown on just 19 carries. Quarterback Stephen Morris was a bit shaky, throwing for 160 yards with one touchdown and one interception on 15 of 27 passing.
