Syracuse Betting Trends
The Orange are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games versus SEC opponents and are 7-3 at the betting window in their last 10 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game. That said, they’re just 2-5 against the number in their last seven games overall and 1-4 against the spread in their last five games coming off a win.
LSU Betting Trends
The Tigers are 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games overall, are 3-0-1 against the number in their last four non-conference games, and have covered in five of their last six games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous contest. That said, they’re just 1-6-1 at the betting window in their last eight games played in the month of September.

OUR PREDICTION: I don’t trust LSU’s offense, even in a non-conference matchup versus an average Power 5 opponent like Syracuse. The Tigers have not lost a non-conference game at home since 2000, winning 48 such games. But that doesn’t mean the Tigers are a lock to cover today. The Orange have some offensive talent in Eric Dungey, Steve Ishmael (who leads the nation in catches and has surpassed 100 receiving yards in all three games), and tailback Dontae Strickland. Syracuse might lose tonight, but it won’t get embarrassed.
