Line Movement

Clemson hit the board as a 40-point favorite and the line was bet down to 39 mid-week. But that number has been bet back up to the original number of 40, while the total has maintained at 51.5.

Public bettors are backing the home team and laying the points at a pretty good clip. Of the wagers currently placed on this matchup, 63% of tickets are on Clemson minus the 39.5 points.

OUR PREDICTION: The under has cashed in four of the Golden Flash’s last five games versus ACC opponents and is 11-4 in their last 15 road games. On the other side, the under is a perfect 6-0 in the Tigers’ last six games played in the month of September. Clemson boasts one of the best defenses in the nation, so I don’t see Kent State scoring much this afternoon. On the other side, the Tigers are breaking in a new quarterback so it could take some time before their offense hums. I like the under.
