Tulane vs. Memphis Odds
No. 16 Memphis looks to stay atop the AAC standings on Saturday night when it hosts Tulane at 7PM ET on the CBS Sports Network.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, Memphis is the clear favorite, as the Tigers are getting odds of -31.5 points against the Green Wave. The over/under total for the game has been set at 65 points. Memphis has won and covered the spread in eight straight meetings with Tulane and the two have hit the under in four of their last five meetings.
Memphis is 7-0 on the year, 3-0 in the AAC, 4-2-1 against the spread and 5-2 with the over. The Tigers are coming off a 66-42 win at Tulsa last week. They have won their last two games by double digits and are third in the nation in scoring at 48.9 points per game and sixth in total offense at 557.3 yards per game. The defense is allowing 28.6 points and 458 yards per contest. Paxton Lynch has thrown for 2,366 yards and 17 touchdowns this season to lead the offense while Anthony Miller has 30 catches for 542 yards and three scores. Doroland Dorceus is the leading rusher with 335 yards and six touchdowns.
Tulane is 2-5 on the season, 1-3 in the AAC, 3-4 against the spread and 4-3 with the over. The Wave are coming off a 31-14 loss at Navy last week for their third straight defeat. Tulane is putting up just 18.7 points and 309.9 yards per game on offense while allowing 37.4 points and 407.3 yards per game. Tanner Lee has thrown for 1,178 yards and eight touchdowns to lead the offense, but is dealing with an injury. Teddy Veal is the leading receiver with 33 catches for 378 yards and three touchdowns.
