Alabama vs. Georgia Injuries
No. 8 Georgia and No. 13 Alabama could use a full staff in order to pick up a big SEC win on Saturday. Is either team dealing with the injury bug?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Georgia is currently listed as 2-point favorite at home against Alabama. The over/under total is listed at 55 points. These two meet on Saturday at 3:30PM ET on CBS.
The injuries for Alabama are mostly on defense as defensive lineman Jonathan Allen is questionable with a shoulder injury and defensive back Jabriel Washington is dealing with a knee injury, but listed as probable. Allen has seven tackles and three sacks this season while Washington has yet to contribute. Another big injury is to receiver Robert Foster, who is out for the season with a rotator cuff injury. He was hurt against Ole Miss and had 10 catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Georgia has a few names on its injury report as well. Receiver Isaiah McKenzie is probable to play but dealing with a personal issue while receiver Justin Scott-Wesley is out with a knee injury. McKenzie has five catches for 89 yards this year. Fullback Christian Payne is also out with a fibula injury. Defensively, linebacker Davin Bellamy is probable despite dealing with a concussion. Bellamy has six tackles on the season with two QB hurries.
