According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Mountaineers are 6.5-point home favorites versus the Cowboys while the over/under currently sits at 60.5 points. OK State enters play with a 5-0 record but is just 2-3 against the spread, while West Virginia is 3-1 straight up and 2-2 at the betting window.
The Mountaineers faced Georgia Southern, Liberty and Maryland to open the season but when they were tested last week in Norman, they were routed in the second half in a 44-24 loss to the Sooners.
The Cowboys haven’t been overly impressive but they are 5-0 and rank 22nd in the nation in total yards, 13th in passing yards and 26 in points scored. This seems like way too many points to hand an undefeated team ranked No. 21 in the nation.
