According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinal is a 7-point home favorite versus the Bruins while the total currently sits at 54 points. UCLA enters play with a 4-1 record and is 2-2 against the spread, while Stanford is 4-1 straight up and 4-1 at the betting window, with its only loss coming on the road to Northwestern in Week 1.

Stanford has won and covered seven straight in this series. QB Kevin Hogan threw for 234 yards and two TDs in last year’s 31-10 win on the road. Stanford has put up 41 or more points in three straight Pac-12 wins.

The UCLA injures just keep getting worse. They just lost WR/DB Mossi Johnson for the year after he suffered a knee injury in practice. LB Myles Jack (knee) is already out for the year along with DB Fabian Moreau (foot) and DL Eddie Vanderdoes (knee).
