SMU vs. TCU Odds
No. 3 TCU looks to continue to cruise through non-conference play on Saturday when the Horned Frogs host SMU at 8PM ET of FSN.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, TCU is the clear favorite at home, as the Horned Frogs are getting odds of -37.5 points against the Mustangs. The over/under total for the game has been set at 66 points. TCU has won seven of its last eight against SMU while the Mustangs have covered the spread in seven of the last 10 meetings.
TCU is 2-0 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. The Horned Frogs started the year with a 23-17 win at Minnesota and then beat Stephen F. Austin at home, 70-7. TCU is averaging 538 yards per game thus far on offense while giving up 254 yards per contest defensively. Trevone Boykin has thrown for 531 yards with five touchdowns while rushing for 98 yards and a score to lead the offense this season. Josh Doctson and Kolby Listenbee each have over 150 receiving yards as well.
SMU is 1-1 on the season, 2-0 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total. The Mustangs suffered a 56-21 loss to Baylor to start the year and then beat North Texas 31-13 last week. SMU is posting 406.5 yards per game thus far, but the defense is allowing 481.5 yards per contest. Matt Davis has thrown for 337 yards and four touchdowns to lead the offense while also rushing for 240 yards and two scores. Courtland Sutton has added eight receptions for 147 yards and three touchdowns.
