Houston vs. UCF Odds
No. 21 Houston looks to stay unbeaten on Saturday when it hits the road to face winless Central Florida at Noon ET on ESPN News.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Houston is the clear favorite on the road, as the Cougars are getting odds of -21.5 points against the Knights. The over/under total for the game has been set at 57 points. UCF has won four straight against Houston, covering the spread in three of the four wins.
Houston is 6-0 on the season, 3-0 in the AAC, 4-2 against the spread and 3-2-1 with the over. The Cougars are coming off a 42-7 win over Tulane last week. They have now won four straight by at least 14 points. The offense is now fifth in the country in points (45.7 per game) and yards (555.7 per game). Its rushing attack is 10th in the country at 280.3 yards per game. Defensively, Houston is allowing just 21.3 points and 375.7 yards per game. The rushing defense is 11th nationally, allowing just 98.5 yards per game. Greg Ward Jr. has thrown for 1,523 yards and nine touchdowns while rushing for a team-high 637 yards and 14 scores to lead the team.
Central Florida is 0-7 on the season, 0-3 in the AAC, 1-6 against the spread and 3-3-1 with the over/under total. The Knights are coming off a 30-16 loss to Temple on the road last week. They have had their last four losses come by at least 14 points. The UCF offense is now averaging 15.7 points and 254.4 yards per game, which puts them 128th in the nation. On defense, the Knights are allowing 29.7 points and 392 yards per game. The team is led by receiver Tre’Quan Smith, who has 22 catches for 293 yards with two touchdowns. Justin Holman is the starting QB who has 571 passing yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions.
