According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Arizona State is a 15-point favorite over Colorado while the total is currently sitting at 69.5 points. The Sun Devils opened as 13.5-point favorites for tonight’s game but the line has been bet up, while the total opened at 68 and has also gone up.
The Sun Devils won easily as a 24-point favorite in a 58-23 victory over New Mexico last Saturday. The combined score sailed over the posted total of 67 points as Arizona State’s Taylor Kelly completed 11-of-20 passes for 192 yards with two passing touchdowns and also added 10 carries for 84 yards and an addition score on the ground. For as good as Kelly was, running back D.J. Foster was even better, as he rushed for 216 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in the victory for the Sun Devils.
Colorado barely squeaked by Massachusetts 41-38 last Saturday but failed to cover as a 17.5-point road favorite. The combined score sailed over the posted total of 79 points as quarterback Sefo Liufau completed 26-of-42 passes for 318 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Nelson Spruce also tore up the Minutemen defense for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 10 receptions.
