Both teams come into this game in Miami at 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in the ACC. The home team has won five of the last six games in this series.

Oddsmakers from online sportsbook BroburySports.com have made Miami a 6.5-point favorite against North Carolina on Saturday. The over/under has been set at 48.

The opening odds had Miami favored by 6.5 points, but the spread went up to 7 before moving back to 6.5. The over/under hasn’t moved since opening at 48.

Miami is coming off a 28-13 win over Duke after losing to Florida State the week prior. The Hurricanes are averaging 392.2 yards per game on offense while giving up 305 yards per game on defense. Jacory Harris has thrown for 1,344 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the team while Damien Berry has rushed for 539 yards and three scores.

North Carolina started 0-2 with a pair of 30-24 losses to LSU and Georgia Tech where the Tar Heels were dealing with a number of suspensions, but now the team has won four straight since. The Tar Heels are averaging 376.8 yards per game on offense while the defense is allowing 332 yards per game. T.J. Yates has thrown for 1,495 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead UNC while Johnny White has rushed for 464 yards and four touchdowns.

Trends favor North Carolina on Saturday as the Tar Heels are 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six games with Miami while the Hurricanes are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

Aside from the suspensions, UNC also has receiver Brendon Felder and linebacker Quan Sturdivant are both questionable with respective injuries. Miami receiver Tommy Streeter is questionable with an upper body injury.
