College Football Week 14 Trends

Championship week is filled with exciting matchups and interesting betting odds. Here is a look at the key trends for each game on the docket.

The two big games everyone will be watching center around the national championship. The first is No. 1 Oregon hitting the road to face rival Oregon State at 3:30PM ET. Current odds from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com have the Ducks as a 16.5-point favorite and trends show that Oregon is 20-6-1 against the spread in their last 27 games against a team with a losing record.

The other big game is in the SEC Championship as No. 2 Auburn takes on No. 18 South Carolina at 4PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Tigers as 4.5-point favorites for the game and trends show that Auburn is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games following a straight up win.

2010 College Football Week 14 Trends for Top 25 Games:

No. 24 Northern Illinois vs. Miami (Ohio), 7PM ET (Friday)

Northern Illinois is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games against Miami while the underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five games between these two teams.

Rutgers vs. No. 23 West Virginia, Noon ET

The road team (Rutgers) has covered the spread in the last five meetings in this series while the underdog is 5-2 ATS in the last seven.

No. 14 Nevada vs. Louisiana Tech, 3PM ET

The Wolf Pack is 4-1 against the spread in their last five meetings against Louisiana Tech while the favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last six games in this series.

Utah State vs. No. 9 Boise State, 3PM ET

The Aggies are 1-9-2 against the spread in their last 12 games against Boise State and 0-3-2 ATS in their last five at Boise State. The over has hit in five of the last six meetings between these two.

No. 1 Oregon vs. Oregon State, 3:30PM ET

UNLV vs. No. 25 Hawaii, 10:30PM ET

UNLV is 1-4 against the spread in their last five games against Hawaii and the Rebels are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games against WAC opponents.
