2009-10 College Football Bowl Betting Recap: Who Covered, Who Didn’t

The 2009-10 College Football Season has completed its bowl season, putting an end to another fine season of college football. Here is a look at the surprises from this season’s bowl games.

Alabama won the biggest game of all, the 2010 BCS Championship Game, defeating

Texas  37-21. The oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL had the Tide as 3.5-point favorites, and thanks to two late turnovers and the loss of Colt McCoy for the Longhorns,

Alabama was able to win by 16 points.

One of the big surprises in the BCS games was

Boise
State’s 17-10 win over TCU in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl. Boise State held TCU to just 36 yards rushing and Andy Dalton was intercepted three times to allow the Broncos to win.

State entered the game as a 7-point underdog, but walked out with an easy cover and its second BCS bowl win.

Of all the bowl games, none had the odds that the Hawaii Bowl had.

Nevada opened as a 14-point favorite and was still an 11-point favorite over SMU entering the game. But, the Mustangs dominated

Nevada from the start on its way to a 45-10 victory. The Wolfpack, which led the nation in rushing yards was held to 137 yards.
