Will Northwestern pull off a stunning upset today versus Gonzaga at 5:15PM ET and keep its NCAA tournament dreams alive?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bulldogs are 11-point favorites versus the Wildcats after opening as a 10.5-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 135 but has been bet up to 137.5.

In their first appearance in the NCAA tournament, the Wildcats produced a memorable victory thanks to a mistake by Vanderbilt that put Bryant McIntosh at the line in the closing seconds. The mistake by Matthew Fisher-Davis, who fouled McIntosh believing that’s what his coach wanted him to do, led to Northwestern’s 68-66 victory on Thursday. After covering as a 2-point underdog, the Wildcats are now 5-2 at the betting window in their last seven games.
Gonzaga didn’t need a controversial ending to beat South Dakota State 66-46 in the opening round of the tournament, although the Bulldogs failed to cover as a 23-point favorite. The Bulldogs are now 9-1 over their last 10 games and 6-4 against the spread during that stretch.

Even though they’re an 8-seed, the Wildcats might be the closest thing to a Cinderella in this year’s tournament, outside of USC. They’ll fight to the bitter end this evening so take the points.
