According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Gators are currently 1-point home favorites versus the Mountaineers after opening at -1.5. As for the total, the number opened at 140.5 and that’s where it currently sits.
Why Bet West Virginia…
Because its defense is giving opponents fits from 3-point land. The Mountaineers’ last four opponents have made just 25.0 percent of its 3-point opportunities. That includes Oklahoma, which leads the nation in 3-point shooting.
The Gators are also 0-10 against ranked teams, which includes four losses this season. The last time Florida beat a top-10 team was when it knocked off No. 10 Baylor in overtime in a Sweet 16 game all the way back in 2011. The team will also likely be without forward Justin Leon (8.6 points in SEC action) and he suffered a concussion in Tuesday’s loss to Vanderbilt.
The Mountaineers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 non-conference tilts.
