Harper scores 21 points vs. Nebraska

Dylan Harper ended Thursday’s 85-82 victory over Nebraska with 21 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-5 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal over 35 minutes. Harper converted on 8-of-17 looks from the field, closing with 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal during Thursday night’s win over the Cornhuskers. The 6-foot-6 freshman has been all he was talked up to be as a recruit this season, averaging 19.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.1 steals across 17 starts. Rutgers’ freshmen Ace Bailey and Harper are both in the conversation for Big Ten Freshman of the Year this season.

Baldwin posts 20 points

Ace Baldwin posted 20 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 11-12 FT), three rebounds and nine assists across 40 minutes during Wednesday’s 90-85 loss to Michigan State. Baldwin suffered a back injury Jan. 8 against Illinois that forced him to miss the following contest, but Wednesday’s effort should leave little doubt about Penn State’s leading scorer being back at 100 percent. The fifth-year senior logged all 40 minutes for just the second time this season while putting forth his best scoring effort since Dec. 29, doing most of his damage from the charity stripe. He and the Nittany Lions next host Rutgers on Monday.

Rutgers vs. Penn State CBB Prediction:

Take the under. The under is a perfect 10-0 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams. That includes cashing in the December 10 matchup in Piscataway, NJ. With the total sitting at 157, the Scarlet Knights won 80-76, narrowly cashing the under. Nonetheless, it hit and the under has been one of the most profitable plays in the Big Ten.

Rutgers vs. Penn State Hoops Prediction: UNDER 157.5
