Public backing Terps on Thursday
COLUMBUS, OH (The Spread) – Maryland heads to Columbus tonight to take on Ohio State at 7:00PM ET and the Terps have the backing of public bettors.

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetDSI, the Buckeyes are 7.5-point home favorites over Maryland after opening at that same number. And according to our College Basketball Public Betting page, 55% of public bettors currently favor the underdog Terps.
Maryland is 13-5 against the spread in its last 18 games versus a team with a winning percentage above .600 and 7-3 ATS in its last 10 games following an ATS loss. The Buckeyes, meanwhile, are 0-9 at the betting window in their last nine games on Thursday.
That said, Ohio State is 6-1 against the number in its lat seven home games and 15-7 ATS in its last 22 home games versus a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600.
