Louisville struggling to cover at home
LOUISVILLE, KY (The Spread) – No. 9 Louisville is a double-digit favorite tonight versus Pittsburgh but the Cardinals have struggled to cover at KFC Yum! Center.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Louisville is as 12.5-point home favorite versus Pittsburgh tonight after opening at that same number. Tip off for tonight’s game is set for 8:00PM ET.
The Cardinals are just 1-6-1 against the spread in their last eight home games and are 0-4-1 against the number in their last five home games versus a team with a losing road record. That said, Louisville is 4-1 ATS in its last five games overall and Pittsburgh is 0-4-1 at the betting window in its last five road games.
The Panthers have also struggled to cover overall recently, going 3-9-1 against the spread in their last 13 games. That said, PITT is 5-2 against the spread in its last seven trips to Louisville while the road team is a perfect 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings between these two teams.
