There are six college basketball games in the top-25 on Tuesday night, although there’s only one that features two ranked teams and that matchup resides in the Big Ten.
No. 21 Wisconsin (12-3, 2-1 Big Ten) will travel to East Lansing on Tuesday to take on No. 24 Michigan State (10-5, 2-1 Big Ten) at 7:00PM ET on ESPN. This will be a great test for Jon Leuer (19.3 PPG, 7.3 rebounds) and the Badgers, as they take on Durrell Summers (15.6 PPG) and the Spartans.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Michigan State a 3.5-point favorite over Wisconsin in this matchup. The over/under total is currently 122 points.
No. 9 UConn is the highest-ranked team in action tonight, as the Huskies will take on unranked Rutgers at 7:00PM ET on ESPN3. UConn is off to a strong start at 12-2, but its 1-2 thus far in the Big East. The Scarlet Knights enter this game with a 10-5 record and are also 1-2 in the Big East.
Oddsmakers have installed UConn as a 12-point favorite.
In other ranked action, No. 10 BYU hits the road to take on Utah at 8:30PM ET, while No. 14 Texas plays in-state rivals Texas Tech at 7:00PM ET on ESPN2. Auburn is at No. 15 Kentucky at 7:00PM ET, while No. 16 Illinois is at Penn State at 9:00PM ET.
