Missouri vs. Tennessee Public Betting: Bettors Taking Points with Tigers

Gray has first double-double of season

Josh Gray contributed 10 points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and one steal over 24 minutes during Saturday’s 88-61 win over Mississippi State. Gray has always been productive on the glass and sports a 5.1 rpg average on the year, but Saturday was the first time this season the fifth-year senior put up double figures in the scoring department. He continues to struggle from an offensive standpoint despite Saturday’s boom, as Gray is averaging just 3.3 ppg across seven games since losing his spot in the starting five, and that includes this game’s total.

Zeigler available to play vs. Mizzou

Zakai Zeigler (knee) is available for Tennessee’s game Wednesday against Missouri, according to Mike Wilson of the Knoxville News Sentinel. During a Monday episode of The Locker Room podcast, Zeigler announced “I’m good” and “I’ll be back next game” for Tennessee, indicating the SEC’s upcoming student-athlete availability report can be overridden as he makes his return Wednesday. Zeigler had a decent January, which saw him average 13.3 points, 6.4 assists and 2.6 steals. Zeigler’s fantasy managers will want to see him clean up his shooting, as his January field goal percentage was a disappointing 33.0.

Missouri vs. Tennessee CBB Prediction:

Take Missouri. With the way the Tigers have played this season, this line is too high. I understand that Zeigler is likely to be available tonight for Tennessee but again, have you seen Missouri play this season? The Tigers enter play tonight with a 17-4 record and an 8-2 ATS mark over their last 10 games. They beat Florida outright on the road as a 10.5-point dog. They beat Mississippi State outright as a 6.5-point road dog. They toppled Kansas earlier in the season, covered versus Auburn and Illinois, as well as hammered Arkansas. In a stout SEC season, Missouri has been the biggest surprise and perhaps best story.
