Updated East Region Odds
It’s all chalk in the East Region of the NCAA Tournament. How have the odds changed for each of the top four teams to win the region and advance to the Final Four?
According to oddsmakers at BetNow.eu, Duke is favored to win, as the Blue Devils are getting odds of -165 to win. Other odds are Michigan State at +275, Virginia Tech at +700 and LSU at +1000. The East Regional semifinals and finals will take place from Capital One Arena in Washington D.C.

Duke
Duke is the top seed in the East Region and considered the top overall seed in the tournament. The Blue Devils defeated No. 16 North Dakota State, 85-62, and No. 9 Central Florida, 77-76. The win over the Knights was a big scare, as UCF narrowly missed a tip-in at the buzzer. Duke will be facing Virginia Tech on Friday in the regional semifinal. The Blue Devils have reached the Final Four 16 times in program history, last doing so in 2015.
Michigan State
Michigan State is the second seed in the region. The Spartans picked up a 76-65 win over No. 15 Bradley in the tournament opener and then best No. 10 Minnesota in the second round, 70-50. Michigan State is set to face LSU in the regional semifinal on Friday. The Spartans have reached the Final Four nine times in program history, last doing so in 2015.

Virginia Tech
The Hokies are the fourth seed in the region and come out of the ACC like Duke. Virginia Tech picked up a 66-52 win over No. 13 Saint Louis and a 67-58 win over No. 12 Liberty over this past weekend. The Hokies have reached the Sweet 16 for just the second time in program history and they are looking to advance to their first Final Four.
LSU
LSU is the third seed in the region. The Tigers are still without head coach Will Wade, who is suspended while the school investigates him for a potential recruiting violation. LSU picked up a 79-74 win over No. 14 Yale and a 69-67 win over No. 6 Maryland this past weekend. LSU has reached the Final Four four times in program history, with the last appearance coming in 2006.
