Georgia guard Dakota Leffew also played well on Tuesday. The Mount St. Mary’s transfer recorded 14 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists, 1 block, 3 steals, and 2 made three-pointers across 35 minutes. Leffew is third on the team in scoring with 11.1 points per game this season.

Georgia vs. Alabama CBB Prediction:
Alabama is the highest-scoring team in the country this season at 90.2 points per game. That fact has driven up the spread in the Crimson Tide’s games over the course of the season. For example, Alabama was favored by 17.5 points over LSU last Saturday. The Crimson Tide won 80-73 but didn’t cover. The Tide were favored by 12 points over Ole Miss at home on January 14th. Alabama lost that game outright 74-64.
I doubt Alabama will lose this game outright, but it does seem conceivable that they might let Georgia hang around for most of the game. The Bulldogs only lost by 9 points the last time these two teams played each other (January 31st, 2024) and I could see this game playing out similarly. It likely won’t be easy, but I’m taking Georgia and the points on the road in Tuscaloosa on Saturday afternoon.
